The University regularly hosts religious gatherings and choir, orchestra and other musical groups. Canterbury Cathedral is the Mother Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion and seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury and we have hosted the last three Lambeth Conferences on our campus, the most recent being in 2008. The conference is a major event involving over 2000 delegates, exhibitors and press/ media and is held every ten years in order that bishops of the Anglican Communion across the globe can gather to discuss common issues facing the wider church

Our wide range of accommodation and fantastic facilities makes us a perfect venue for Choir and Musical groups. Groups from across the UK, Europe and the USA have used us a base for their UK tours and our Gulbenkian Arts centre and new Colyer Fergusson Music building are perfect venues for major concerts and practice/rehearsal space
